Friday night run, 5th August
We had the second evening run on the 5th August, this was organised by Dunnington Dave.
On route to the Duke of York pub for the run, who was stopped at the side of the road but Brian with his MGB ‘’it had stopped at the junction and refused to start”. By this time a few cars had stopped and with a push he was off.
We set of from the Duke of York at 7.00pm headed through Buttercrambe and towards Thixendale; from there we drove through Millington pastures and back to the pub. There had been a bit of racing between Pete and Mike all the way round with the final race from Stamford Bridge to the pub. (Next time Mike do not forget your fifth gear)
It was back to the pub for a well earned meal and a drink. It was a great run and thanks to Dave for organising this.
