When we set of from home the weather was fine, so we had the roof down on the Roadster.
We all met at the Dog Walkers car park on Strensall Common at 11.45pm. We had a good turn out of cars which included one E.Type, Midget, MGB Roadster’s and MGTF’s.
Tony led the way just after 12pm and we headed towards Bulmer and onwards to Castle Howard (at this point the roads were fairly quiet) after passing the lovely views of the grounds of Castle Howard we drove towards Malton and onwards to Kirbymoorside. We were in the sunshine as we headed towards Hartoft and we passed Rosedale Abbey.

There were equally impressive views as we passed through Westerdale, Coverdale and into Liverton were we turned into the car park of the Waterwheel pub for our lunch. The Carvery was very good as usual and we all enjoyed the meal some of us even managed a dessert.
After lunch we all made our own way home. We had a lovely run without any breakdowns.
