Lunch time Run - Ye Old Sun Inn - 18 Oct 09

Before the ‘off’

Fifteen cars left ‘Ye Old Sun Inn’ at 11am to complete a short circular route of 38 miles before returning to the pub for lunch. The weather was kind and the route headed through picturesque Askham Richard and on through Rufforth, Tockwith and Spofforth. The circuit then looped round to the West of Wetherby and returned to Colton via Bramham and Tadcaster.

The Lady navigators were tasked with identifying ten pubs along the route and then completing a simple anagram on their return to the Sun Inn. After a good lunch back at the pub Lynn and Jean were declared the prize winners. (It transpired that Lynn is a crossword buff, next time she’ll be handicapped!)
