The happy throng before departure!

Fifteen cars gathered at the pub on what was arguably the finest evening of the year. The 32 mile circular route took us over the Wolds via Thixendale through some of East Yorkshire’s finest scenery before returning to the ‘Duke of York’ for supper and a drink. Unfortunately there was one sad note when Andy and Linda were let down by a faulty coil and had to return home in the breakdown truck. That apart all agreed it was a super night out.

Our thanks go to David Knight for organizing the event and to everybody at the ‘Duke of York’ for providing an excellent meal to round off the evening.
