Ryedale and York MG Owners Club is a small independent group of motoring enthusiasts. Whilst MG cars are its main focus other classics are welcome, as can be seen on the “Our Cars” page of this website.

 

The club holds monthly meetings, see “Meetings Page", in order to deal with club matters which can range from organising the club annual charity run “Yorvik” to discussing new ideas concerning our way forward for the future.

One very pleasant out-come of these meetings is our monthly pub night, this occurs during the lighter evenings, we choose a pub somewhere in the local countryside and meet up for a Friday chat. Wives, partners, friends are an essential part of these social gatherings and provide a great opportunity to simply get to know one another.

 

During the summer months the group run a series of permanent fixture car runs, for example in August we have the Picnic Run to Filey, September we have the Sunday lunch run to Hayburn Wyke. Also of course is the aforementioned Yorvik Run which departs and concludes at Pickerings NY500

Membership fees are currently £10 per year.
